The Radix DM Security Wizard is a tool used by system administrators to set Windows security and Active Directory configuration details so they correspond to settings in Radix DM. No changes are made to Radix DM. It comprises two different operations: update Active Directory groups to match Radix DM workgroups and alter Windows folder permissions for library group base paths.
When the Radix DM Security Wizard program is launched, it will resemble the following:
Enter the connection string used to connect to the Radix DM database in the section Radix DM Connection String. This value can be determined from the RadixDM.config file that is located in the shared configuration folder for Radix DM. Once the connection string is verified, click Next to bring up the next screen where the user will be able to select one of the two available operations to perform: update Active Directory groups to match Radix DM workgroups and alter Windows folder permissions for library group base paths.
