The default installation of Radix DM uses a preset SQL user name and password to access the application database. To make Radix DM more secure, it is possible to instead use integrated Windows authentication. Please contact us if you would like more information about this process.
System administrators should also ensure that Windows security permissions for customised library group folders match the folder permissions for users in Active Directory.
Please use the Radix DM Health Check regularly to detect any issues with the running of Radix DM.
Radix DM will need to be configured after installation using Radix DM Administration to conform to your site’s specific requirements. After installing the Radix DM client on any computer ensure you are logged on with the Administration user account used to run the Radix DM installation package. Double click the Radix DM desktop shortcut to start the Radix DM Grabber. Right click the Grabber and select Administration; this will start the Radix DM Administration program which is used to configure Radix DM.
