The text search engine used by Radix DM creates indexes to allow users to search within the contents of documents for search terms. When documents are saved or updated in a library group, the document is added to a queue for index processing. The list of pending documents that are currently queued for operations is visible in Radix DM Administration. This queue is typically processed every 15 minutes, although this setting can be changed.
Information about the documents that have been added to the Index Queue is detailed by the following columns:
Operation: The code used to identify the operation to be performed on the file when it is processed.
Date Submitted: The date that the document was added to the index queue.
File Path: The full path and name of the file of the document added to the index queue.
Library Group Name: The name of the library group that contains the specified file.
Administrators can track all changes that have been made in Radix DM Administration.
Information about the changes that have been made is detailed by the following columns:
Event Date: The date and time the operation was performed.
Machine: This Windows name of the machine on which the operation was performed.
User ID: The index field that uniquely identifies the user who performed the operation.
User Name: The Radix DM name of the user who performed the operation.
Operation: The name of the operation that was performed.
Details: These are the details of the object on which the operation was performed. In most cases, it will be in a format that lists the ID of the object followed by the name of the object.
Radix DM Administration allows users to perform and track updates to the software for each installation. This function is only available when the Updates Menu Item has been selected. This operation allows the user to browse to a Radix DM supplied Zip file. This will copy the install files to a designated location where they can be run to update the client.
Information about the installed updates is detailed by the following columns:
Change ID: The index field that uniquely identifies the update.
DB Schema Version: The version of the database schema that this update implements. Database versions for an update will be different from client versions, as the database definition itself may not change between releases.
DB Schema Comment: A comment providing information about the database schema for this update.
Minimum Client Version: The minimum version of the client that will allow this update to run. Sometimes changes to the database schema or client version will prevent users from being able to run Radix DM. In this case, Radix DM will alert users that the version of Radix DM that they are running needs to be updated to comply with minimum version requirements of the active update.
Available Client Version: The version of the client that this update implements.
Active: If an update has this value selected, then it is the currently active version of Radix DM. Only one update can be active at any time.
