Issue: Files on Network Drives Cannot be Opened in SmartDraw

Issue:

The SmartDraw program contains a bug that prevents users from being able to access files on a network drive if SharePoint is installed on your server. When this happens, SmartDraw will always attempt to connect to SharePoint and display an error.

 

Solution:
You can disable the SharePoint integration by going to the SmartDraw Button in the upper left corner of SmartDraw, scrolling over the SharePoint icon, and selecting the option Set Server Name, then enter "None" and click OK.

This should disable any SharePoint use and allow the opening of files saved on the network drive.
