The Radix DM Grabber is the local client program that gives users access to the functions of Radix DM, including save, search and administration.

There are several ways to save a document in Radix DM. The data to be saved in Radix DM is entered by using the Document Save window.
If a document already exists then it is easy to save it into Radix DM by left-clicking and dragging the file from the Desktop or from Windows Explorer on to the Radix DM Grabber. The Document Save window will then be displayed.
Documents containing the contents of the clipboard can be created and saved in one step by selecting the option Save Clipboard Contents from the Radix DM Grabber Context Menu. More information about this can be found in the section Radix DM Grabber.
It is possible to create an entry for a document in Radix DM that is not a computer file. Clicking on the option Create Document Record from the Radix DM Grabber Context Menu will bring up the Document Save window. Documents that have been opened or created in certain Microsoft applications (including Word, Outlook, Excel, Access, Visio and Powerpoint) can be saved directly into Radix DM using the buttons on the Radix DM bar that appears within these applications.
