PDF Docs Desktop is an application for creating and managing PDF files published by Docs Corp (www.docscorp.com). The following steps add a button to PDF Docs Desktop which allows PDF files to be saved directly from PDF Docs Desktop to Radix DM. The following steps need only be completed once. All users should have the new button the next time they start PDF Docs Desktop.
Step 1: Modify the PDF Docs Desktop server.ini file
Start PDF Docs Desktop and open the About dialog from the Help menu. Locate the file listed in the "Server.ini File" section. Please back this file up to a safe location before continuing.
Search the text of this file for the line:
saveinto=(None)
and replace it with the following lines:
'Changed by Radix Software.
saveinto=Other executable
Locate the line:
'saveintopathname=
and replace it with the following lines:
'Changed by Radix Software
saveintopathname=C:\Program Files\Radix Software\Radix DM Client\RadixDMSendTo.exe
Between the lines:
saveas=
and
'Autoprocess checkbox on the Settings tab True/False
add the following lines:
'Added by Radix Software

Monitor_Watchfolder_Timeout=300
Step 2: Test
The Save Into Radix DM button will appear the next time the user starts PDF Docs Desktop. If the button does not appear, open the About dialog from the Help menu and click the Load Defaults button.
