This program is used to assist in the process of ensuring that PDF documents in Radix DM can be text searched. It is a three step process where documents are extracted from Radix DM, an external process is used to make the documents text searchable, and the documents are then imported back into Radix DM again.
For more information about this product please see the article Radix DM OCR Assistant.
The Radix DM Search Launcher allows users to perform database field searches from a small dialog, opening a Radix DM Search tab with the parameters specified. The lines that are used in the RadixDMSearchLauncher.config are as follows:
<add key="ShowConfig" value="true" />
If this value is true then options that allow the user to select the Library Group and Field are visible.
<add key="UseCode" value="true" />
If this value is true then the program will search the selected field Code. If this value is false then the program will search the selected field Description.
<add key="RadixConfigPath" value="ABC" />
This key must be changed manually for each site to point to the location of the RadixDM.config file.
<add key="LibraryGroupID" value = "XXX" />
<add key="FieldID" value = "YYY" />
These keys help preserve values for the program between executions.
